Technology That Stands the Test of Time Since 1983
Founded in 1983, Licht-Labs initially focused on manufacturing electronic relay regulators for the control of on-load tap changers in power transformers. Over time, we expanded our product line to include temperature controllers, signal transducers, and digital indicators, used in power transmission and distribution systems, as well as in industrial process automation.
Among the thousands of devices we have produced, a significant portion has been installed in transformers and control and monitoring panels for power systems. These installations often operate under extremely harsh conditions - operational, environmental, and electrical - with service temperatures reaching up to 70°C, maintained over prolonged periods. To meet these challenges, we specialize in developing electronics that withstand these adverse conditions.
Licht-Labs equipment is designed to ensure complete reliability throughout its lifespan, which can reach up to 20 years, recognizing that failures in such applications can have significant consequences.
